We loved this Ft Myers rustic wedding so much we had to share some of our favorites from the whole day! Want some awesome wedding inspiration? Emily’s vision was brought to life through herself and some awesome vendors! There is just something about dressing up a barn that makes the perfect setting for a wedding. The simple elegance is to die for.

We wanted to share with you the process of your wedding photography too. A little what to expect and we hope it helps you with the decision on how many hours should you hire your wedding photographer for.

When we arrive we do all the details, shoes, dress, florals, jewelry, invitations etc. We capture some candid getting ready photos, capture those getting ready robes or shirts. The second photographer goes to the guys to get them getting ready and some of the groom and he with his groomsmen. Your main photographer is with the bride getting photos of her dress being buttoned up, her jewelry put on and of course we love shots of the shoes being the final touch. Some bride’s love getting the surprise reactions from her squad seeing her in her dress for the first time or capturing showing her Dad his little girl all dressed and ready for her biggest day ever. Our last blogged covered the reasons why some of our couples love doing a first look so check that out if you need help deciding. Those private, intimate moments are some of our favorite to capture but if you are traditional and want his reaction to be at the grand entrance of the ceremony we love that too! Ceremony shots are always from different angles, we are creative souls and we want your story documented to show you what we see. Family portraits come right after making sure we get Grandma and Grandpa in those to cherish forever. Bridal Party time! They are the most important people, the ones who support and love you and showed up for you on your big day, we get some fun ones of them! Finally, before you head to your party we do the Bride and Groom Portraits. We typically do these in a couple of the perfect spots, the reason you chose your wedding venue. Our goal, for you to look at those photos in 20 years and remember how you felt that day, how much love you two had for each other that day. How excited you were to finally be married and to have your significant other’s last name! Finally, party time! We capture you being introduced for the first freaking time as Mr and Mrs! Your very first dance as your loved ones and wedding party watch and cheer you on. The parent dances, one of may or may not be tearing up behind the camera on the Mother Son dance as she too will be having that one one day. Don’t forget cutting the cake, tossing those bouquets and garters and of course those dance moves from you and your wedding guests to use as blackmail. We love weddings, having every Bride with different visions always keeps things fresh and new.
